The water sport of primary interest to CRRPC members is sculling , but we also provide water access and storage facilities for members interested in canoeing and kayaking.
Some members row purely for enjoyment, others for the incredible cardiovascular exercise, and many of our members row competitively.

Some CRRPC members are in high school and some are retired, with all ranges in between represented.

Rowing and sculling are performed in the early morning, between sunrise and the start of daily power-boat traffic on the river – this affords the rowers the opportunity to enjoy the sport before work, or at the start of their day on the weekend.

Our season typically runs from mid-April until mid-October, depending on weather and environmental factors.
